Kamstrup is acquiring eBZ to strengthen its position in Germany
Kamstrup is acquiring eBZ as an important step in its growth journey in Germany and in building a larger, stronger Electricity business. Germany is central to Kamstrup’s long-term ambitions and is already an important market for the company through its water and heat/cooling activities.
Adding an established electricity metering business substantially strengthens Kamstrup’s overall position in the country and provides an immediate, credible position in a market with distinct technical architecture, regulations, buying patterns and customer relationships. The acquisition also increases Kamstrup’s investment in Germany and Europe and strengthens its ability to support utilities as they digitalise and respond to growing electrification.

Since eBZ was founded in 2014 by Dr. Uwe Schöneberg, Mr. Christoph Bujak and Mr. Martin Böhme, its founders, leadership and employees have built a growing business and a strong position with German utilities.
