Live seminars – be part of it

Dive into our interesting seminars together with PHYSEC and My Kamstrup focusing on digitalisation in the water industry and data protection compliant LoRaWAN TLS technology.

Led by industry experts, two different live seminars will take place every day between Tuesday 14 May and Thursday 16 May.

Learn more about topics such as security, scalability, and the future of metering technology.

In the "Digitalisation in the water industry" seminar, you will gain insights into the future of metering technology, learn the reasons for digitalisation in the water industry, and deepen your understanding of data protection and security. We will also show you in simple terms how TLS technology works when used with LoRaWAN.

The second seminar, "Digitalisation in the water industry (technical focus)", is aimed at technically interested users who would like to gain detailed knowledge of data protection and security as well as TLS technology.

Meet PHYSEC at our booth

One of our key topics at IFAT will be presenting the ultrasonic water meter with LoRaWAN TLS technology. Together with PHYSEC GmbH and GELSENWASSER AG, we have developed an electronic ultrasonic water meter with data transmission that complies with one of the highest security standards through its TLS encryption via LoRaWAN.

PHYSEC GmbH is a young deep tech company from Bochum. As a spin-off of the renowned Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI) in Bochum, they take a holistic view of IoT security from the perspective of research, regulatory authorities, and industry. The company develops key technologies necessary to fully realise the powerful potential of the new technology paradigm.
