The READy Concentrator 2C serves as an advanced base station for smart meter data collection within AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) networks. To ensure seamless operation and minimised setup complexity, the concentrator features an integrated design composed of three interconnected modules:
- RF-Board Assembly
- Utility Board

For flexible connectivity, the unit uses a built-in 4G modem to enhance the communication with the head-end system (HES), supporting both modem and Ethernet data transfer options.
The READy Concentrator 2C is built to endure harsh environments, boasting an IP65-rated enclosure and operating effectively within a temperature range of -25°C to 55°C.
It’s a highly capable concentrator with a capacity to manage up to 30,000 water meters or 10,000 heat meters subject to environmental conditions and data volume. It aligns with Kamstrup’s wM-Bus and linkIQ®, OMS LPWAN solutions, and maintains compatibility with existing Wireless M-Bus devices.
To simplify the installation process, the one-box solution includes an integrated power supply and modem, which also reduces setup time and costs. And with its space-saving construction, the concentrator is suitable for highly limited installation spaces, such as flagpoles or house gables. It’s a plug-and-play experience – perfect for streamlined deployment.
