COVID-19 – Acting under new conditions

The COVID-19 situation is having a significant impact on all of us, and we need to minimise that impact together.

At Kamstrup, we follow the precautions from local authorities carefully and have implemented a number of measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our employees, our customers and our society. We have asked our employees to work from home if at all possible, and all cross-border travels and external meetings have been cancelled. Instead, in the coming period we will stay in close contact with our customers and partners virtually. In other words, we will continue our work and business as usual but under new conditions.

The utility industry is fundamental to our society. While we are taking actions to limit the spread of the COVID-19, we therefore encourage the industry to keep the wheels turning and to continue with the many important initiatives that have already been planned and started. We will do so on our end. By working together, we will reduce the impact of this critical situation.

Since the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been in close contact with our suppliers worldwide and we are constantly monitoring the situation to be able to adjust our priorities and actions accordingly. So far, we have experienced only a limited impact on our deliveries to our customers, and we have taken the necessary measures to protect our production capability. As a result, as the situation is right now, we are able to serve our customers and deliver our products on time.

These are extraordinary circumstances. But if we work together and adopt a solution-oriented approach, we can ensure that no one is left behind.

Let’s stay safe.
