Kamstrup Joins EU Horizon's MAASive and DMAAST Projects to Strengthen European Supply Chains

In Kamstrup we are proud to take part in two EU Horizon projects, to ensure and develop the resilient supply chains of the future through innovative approaches.

As a proud participant in the EU Horizon projects Kamstrup helps ensure and develop the resilient supply chains of the future through innovation.

The DMaaST initiative will develop methods and tools to bolster resilience of manufacturing value networks, by enhancing the manufacturing ecosystem’s adaptability to external events through data-driven analysis of suppliers, value-chain, and production capability.

Through real-time data integration, the initiative’s solutions will provide new insights – not just into the local work floor – but into cross-organization operability.

For this initiative, we will be providing data and insights into the operational dynamics of Kamstrup's supply chain, leading to new insights so Kamstrup can continue to ensure clean water and energy to a maximum number of people.

In the project named MAASive we will, together with a range of partners seek to mitigate some of the challenges in supply caused by geopolitical circumstances in recent years. The project aims to make European manufacturing companies resilient to events like COVID, and war in the years to come.

MASSive will utilize knowledge from the participants in the project to create a ‘Manufacturing As A Service (MAAS)’ approach. To maximise existing resources in a value network, it connects manufacturers to service providers on-demand through a dynamic, connected network.

In Kamstrup we are eager to utilize our innovative approach as well as the experience obtained from the recent component shortage, to develop strong and resilient value chains.
