I have a B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology, which I’ve supplemented with an EBA, Engineering Business Administration degree. At Kamstrup, I’m the Head of Strategic Business Development in the Water Division. This means that I’m responsible for leading the team that’s ensuring Kamstrup continues to have a strong strategic foresight in the water business, and that our products and services are always based on actual needs and contribute with top-class customer value. Besides that, my personal areas of expertise include data communication and IoT, as well as pressure management and smart water solutions.
I’ve worked in the water industry since 2005. Still, my interest in efficiently ensuring potable water goes beyond my work life; since the beginning of 2019, I’ve been a member of the board at my local water utility, where I am currently holding the Vice Chairman position. Water is a remarkable resource and many people don’t think too much about it – at least not until they can’t get it. It’s fundamental for life itself, which is one of the reasons why I think my work at Kamstrup is exciting and meaningful. It’s rather cliché, I know, but here I get to be part of a company that doesn’t just work to advance itself, but helps people around the world, by reducing the loss of water and getting it to those who need it instead.
I do find time for my other interests, though. Besides spending time with my wife and daughter, I’m an avid runner in the beautiful surroundings of Kalø Vig in Denmark, and I appreciate a glass of good wine or port now and then, best enjoyed with family and friends.
