Dear Customer,
Unfortunately, several of you have experienced instability and performance issues on our READy Manager system. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We are taking the instability and performance issues very seriously and it has full focus at top management level in Kamstrup. We have therefore initiated three mitigating actions to reestablish the stability of the READy Manager system – 2 short term and 1 long term:
Short term:
1. Kamstrup is working on creating more capacity on our hosting setup by removing capacity bottlenecks to ensure better performance and more stability. This work has already started, and we expect you to see improvement from primo October. This work may affect some of you in the form of extra service windows to move load around in our hosting environment. We hope for your understanding and patience in this regard – you will be informed about the specifics via the standard channels.
2. Kamstrup has identified a list of optimization possibilities in the READy software. The first is already implemented in the next READy release 1.26 being rolled out in the coming months. The optimization in 1.26 will lower latency as more work gets carried out at the same time. The rest is currently being scheduled for the coming releases of READy.
Long term:
3. We will be doing a 360 degrees technical assessment of our READy product and hosting setup to ensure that we gear our READy solution for future demands and to meet the customer expectations. . Based on the conclusions of this analysis further concrete initiatives will be initiated.
Kamstrup have mobilized all relevant specialists and resources to solve above initiatives as quickly as possible and are making every effort to minimize disruptions, since we fully understand the importance of timely and accurate data for your operations.
