Kamstrup at Aquatech Amsterdam 2019

Join us for a ground breaking product launch. At Aquatech Amsterdam we present the new, intelligent ultrasonic water meter flowIQ® 2200. The water meter is equipped with integrated acoustic leakage detection that makes it possible to monitor your distribution area for possible leakages.

Be amongst the first introduced to the flowIQ® 2200 – visit us in Hall 12, Booth 12.311 or sign up for our seminar and read more about the new solution below.

Program for the seminar

12.30 - 13.00: Sandwiches & networking
13.00 - 13.15: Welcome
13.15 - 14.15: Acoustic leakage detection in every smart meter

Speaker information

Marco Fantozzi, Managing Director, Isle srl

Marco is a leading Non Revenue Water (NRW) expert with over 30 years international experience in all aspects of NRW reduction work. He is an expert evaluator for the European Commission for the Key Action “Sustainable Management and Quality of Water” and he has participated in a number of EU research projects. Within Isle Utilities, Marco is responsible for developing TAG and consultancy in Italy.

Brian Truegaard, VCS Denmark

Brian has worked as a Team Manager for VCS Denmark since 2009. He is specialised in water meters and has worked on several pilot projects based on wireless meter readings. He has experience with working together with other utilities and identifying consumer’s needs (e.g. frequency of readings and platforms for data transfer). He has tested different meter types and technologies and has helped other utilities set up water meter tenders, so they match the needs of the utility.

Non-Revenue Water and leakage detection is one of the industry’s biggest challenges

Today, way too much clean drinking water is being wasted: too much clean water disappears or is polluted on its way to the consumers. And too much clean water is consumed without consideration.
Leakage detection is a both time consuming and expensive responsibility for most water utilities. Luckily, new solutions can create an unprecedented level of transparency that can show you the low-hanging fruits for reducing your NRW and lower your costs per identified leak.

Now you can let every smart meter work for you 24/7 to help locate leaks and create an unprecedented transparency in your distribution network. Acting like a fine-meshed network of noise loggers, the meters listen to the distribution lines and the service connections to detect leakages.

With a new and innovative use of our proven ultrasonic technology, we offer one solution for your metering and leak detection needs. A solution based on our newest smart meter - the flowIQ® 2200 with acoustic leakage detection, Leak Detector - a new application for our analytics platform as well as a range of service and training offerings that lets you scale and customize the solution to fit your needs.
