Software for Kamstrup USB

Download: Driver (5098282, Rev. C1) for Kamstrup USB Interface (optcal/3-wire) zip-fil (10.6 MB)

Please read below before downloading drivers and installing the Kamstrup USB unit! 

The zip-file contains the same files as the original Kamstrup USB Driver CD, and it is possible to make a Kamstrup USB Driver CD just by burning the unzipped files on a blank CD-Rom.

To install Kamstrup USB Interface:

1. Download the zip-file

2. Unzip the file in an emply folder

Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista

3. Run Intro.exe
   (4a. If you need any help select "Installation Guide")

4. Select "Install USB Driver" from the menu
(Note! A warning may turn up twice, as the USB driver is not digitally approved by Microsoft.  This is normal).

 5. Connect the Kamstrup USB unit when the driver installation is complete.

(Note!  The information" Found new hardware"- will pop up twice when the Kamstrup USB Unit is inserted. This is normal).

Windows 98SE/ME

3. Connect the Kamstrup USB unit.

4. Write the entire path to the subfolder "\Driver", when the guide "New hardware found" asks for the location of the driver.

(If the files are unzipped to the folder "c:\USB_Driver\", write "c:\USB_Driver\Driver".)
