Kamstrup project model

Phase 2: Project planning 

 

Description 
During this phase a Project Start-up Meeting is held with the customer where the scope of work is agreed in detail. The project is planned and engineered, a detailed time schedule is prepared and all necessary activities in order to carry through the project are identified, analysed and scheduled.

 

At the end of the Planning Phase all production and procurements are finalised, contracts with sub-suppliers are entered and the installation can be initialised. 

 

 

Results to be achieved during the Project Planning Phase:

  • Detailed Time Schedule prepared
  • Resource and organisation plan agreed
  • System Specification approved by the customer
  • All interfaces with the customer’s IT systems identified and specified
    Production content visualised
  • Data entered in the Kamstrup CRM system
  • Contracts with Sub-suppliers signed
  • Organisation plan prepared and presented to the customer
  • Any development tasks scheduled and committed internally
    Updated budget
  • Communication plan prepared and agreed with the customer
  • External Kick-off Meeting held with the customer
  • Overview of documentation prepared
  • Documentation required from customer received
  • FAT documentation prepared (if required)
  • FAT schedule agreed with the customer (if required)
  • Overview of training activities established
  • Operation after Final Acceptance clarified and agreed with the customer
  • Operation Manager appointed if operation is managed by Kamstrup
