Kamstrup project model 

Phase 1: Sales

 

Description
During the sales phase contact and presentations are made to potential customers, marketing materials are prepared, tender material sent out by customers is evaluated, pre-qualifications are supplied, negotiations with customers are carried out and finally contracts and orders are signed.

 

During this phase the responsible sales person is supported by the entire
organisation and in particular the System Department where project and product management in order to evaluate and estimate the system solution and support the sales organisation in general is available.


At the end of this phase the project is handed over from the responsible sales manager to the project manager during an Internal Kick-off Meeting. 

Hereafter, the responsible person is the appointed project manager. 

 

 

Results to be achieved during the Sales Phase:

  • Contract signed with customer
  • Service contract signed with customer
  • Operation contract signed with customer
  • Project entered in the Kamstrup CRM system
  • A clear overview and description of the agreed technical solution
  • A committed overall time schedule
  • Pre-projecting carried through where relevant
  • Other agreements made with the customer during the negotiation phase documented
  • Budget for the project
  • Potential sub-suppliers chosen
  • Internal Kick-off Meeting held under the responsibility of the Sales Manager and minutes from the meeting recorded.
  • Project Manager appointed
